Juzo thorax compression vests are available in compression classes 1 and 2 for the Juzo Expert knit option. They are also available as the Juzo Expert Silver model with an antibacterial effect. All models are characterised by a premium fit for maximum freedom of movement, pleasant wearing comfort and perfect compression. The following generally applies: in order to achieve the desired effect, the compression garment must fit well and be comfortable enough that users enjoy wearing it regularly. Our thorax compression vests are therefore available in a wide variety of muted and fashionable colours that mix and match perfectly.

Areas of application for flat knit thorax compression vests

Thorax compression vests are usually used in post-operative care. They are often used after breast surgery, for example, after removal of a breast carcinoma, where post-operative oedemas commonly occur in the chest wall, back or arm regions.

Thanks to its comfortably soft structure and subtle mesh, the Juzo Expert knitted fabric is perfect for newcomers to flat knit products. The breathable material provides a high working pressure with maximum freedom of movement, and can be used individually as part of full-body treatment.

Antibacterial effect included

Juzo Expert Silver complements the benefits of the Juzo Expert knitted fabric with the antibacterial effect of the X-Static silver thread. This reduces bacterial growth on the skin, helps to restore the balance of inflamed and irritated skin and prevents itching.

Donning of thorax compression vest

Medical supply retail staff will be happy to show you how to put on your thorax compression vest correctly. There are also different donning aids that make putting on the compression product easier for newcomers to compression and for people with limited mobility.

It’s up to you

The success of oedema therapy is based on your willingness to wear the compression garment for the entire day. This means putting on your thorax compression vest in the morning right after getting up and only taking it off when you go to bed.
